Volunteer Opportunities

Our organization began as a collective of motivated volunteers; its ongoing success is determined by the hard-work of passionate volunteers, like you!

QC Bike relies on volunteers to meet the needs of the collective. We have set aside specific times to develop, train, and utilize volunteer talent in the furtherance of the collective’s shop operations during Closed Shop.

Community Events

Keep Manchester rolling by supporting community events while promoting QC Bike. Don’t forget to wear your QC Bike t-shirt!

December 3rd, 2021: Wrench-a-thon

From 11AM-5PM on Sunday, December 5th, QC Bike will be hosting a day of service that has opportunities for every skill level!

Sign up for a shift to reserve a work stand to help us get Earn-A-Bikes cleaned up and ready for refurbishing. You can also sign up or just stop by to provide shop support by helping us sort & scrap parts, as well as roll tubes and write thank you letters.

From 3-5PM, families are welcome to join in on kid-friendly activities. Food and water bottles will be available throughout the day. Masks are encouraged.

Opportunities Outside of the Shop

QC Bike’s work isn’t confined to the walls of the shop. Help make an impact in the community with these volunteer opportunities.

Infrastructure, advocating for safer streets and providing educational resources are important ways to keep Manchester rolling.

Ongoing Opportunity: Adopt a FixIt Station

Help QC Bike maintain the new FixIt Stations (bike stands, tools and air pumps) around town by performing two check ins per month. See full description here and sign up here.

Ongoing Opportunity: Become a Ride Leader

There is a high demand for more group rides in Manchester, but we need more volunteer ride leaders! Click here to sign up for an appointment to meet and join us as a ride leader.

Volunteer Form

We’re looking for community members to get involved!

In-Shop, adopt-a-fix-it station, advocacy, and event support are all impactful ways to support the collective.

Tell us what you’re interested in and what motivates you!
