What We Do
Open Shop
Open Shop is your time to work on your bike!
We have the tools, parts, & expertise to help you repair and maintain most bicycles. We strive to cultivate a Do-It-Together environment where you hold the tools!
Make an appointment here.
Open Shop is also a perfect opportunity to donate bikes, parts, or funds to help keep this thing rolling.
Note: patrons under-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
For Sale
During our Open Shop hours, we sell refurbished bikes – mostly basic transportation bikes (and some higher end) – in adult sizes. We offer discounts to Manchester residents, particularly for low-income folks who ride as their primary mode of transportation.
We carry used (and some new) parts to fix your ride and get you out the door, safely & affordably.
We also offer affordable lights, locks, and helmets to keep you and your bike safe.
Bike Donations
We don’t buy bikes or accept trades, but we gladly accept donations! Bikes, parts, and bike related gear are all useful and necessary to our operations.
No shop credit given for donations, only gratitude and good will!
More info can be found here!
Group Rides
When the weather’s good, we hold community bike rides. Rides are casual and welcoming, focused on biking within the Manchester area.
Keep an eye on our Events page for more info!
Earn a Bike
Through our partnership with Elliot Health Systems and other generous funders, we are proud to provide 150 high-achieving, fourth and fifth grade students at Gossler Park and Beech Street schools with a bike, lock, light-set, and helmet.
If you’re interested in helping us with this rewarding program by donating bikes (especially those with 20″ and 24″ wheels), energy, or otherwise, please contact Abby or Tyler.
Advocacy & Infrastructure
QC Bike recognizes the importance of bicycle friendly policies and infrastructure to safely connect people to jobs, healthcare and other services.
We have an advocacy committee focused on improving the bicycle friendliness of the Queen City.
We are proud to have provided the city with infrastructure assistance in the form of public bicycle racks and Fixit Stations.
