5th Annual Earn-A-Bike Program a Success!

Thanks to the Earn-A-Bike Program, over 100 elementary school students are now proud owners of a newly refurbished bicycle!
Last month, fourth-graders at Gossler Elementary and fifth-graders at Beech Elementary who completed the Earn-A-Bike curriculum were given the chance to pick out a bike, along with a helmet, lights, and lock.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped us put smiles on faces, as well as the Manchester Community Schools Project, Manchester Health Department, Manchester Police Department and Elliot Health System!

Fix-A-Flat Friday

QC Bike volunteers helped community members get back on the streets using the new FixIt station at Bronstein Park. During the event we gave away lights and tubes, fixed flats and got to meet some great people.
NH Gives Day is June 8-9th

Like other bike shops around the world, the pandemic has changed the way we operate. The demand for bikes has increased substantially, from families seeking outlets for pent-up energy to essential workers struggling to make it to their shift on time. Our mission is to get people on bikes, and we need your help. Our original, pre-COVID model was heavily volunteer-dependent and shop-focused. Last year, we pivoted to a greater reliance upon paid staff and are hoping for a blended staffing model, with a wider base of support. We need YOU to help build our capacity to meet the needs of our community. Even small donations make a big impact, and your donation can go even further thanks to the $300,000 site-wide match pool funded by the New Hampshire Charitable Donation. YOU can help keep Manchester rolling with a donation on NH Gives Day: |
Upcoming Event: Explore Manchester On A Bike

We will begin at 5:30pm at the Factory on Willow (252 Willow St.). Parking will be available. All ages and abilities are welcome, and the ride is FREE!
